These terms govern the use of this website and, once sessions are on sale, the purchase and use of an access token. Where a term is not yet decided it reads "To be confirmed" and is set apart from the text around it. Nothing is on sale today.
1 Who These Terms Are With
These terms are between you and Tamas Locher e.U., Joseph-Lister-Gasse 31A/Top 14, A-1130 Vienna, Austria. Contact: off@stateoffline.com.
State Offline is the name under which that business runs 144-minute ambient meditation sessions.
2 Use of This Website
This website is provided for information. You may read it, and you may share links to it.
You may not copy its content for republication, scrape it, or use it to train a model, without written permission.
The website is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption.
3 Access Tokens
Not yet active. No sessions are on sale and no access token can currently be bought.
An access token admits one person to one cycle. It is not a membership and carries no entitlement beyond that cycle.

4 Cancellation by You
Cancel at least 48 hours before your cycle and the access token is refunded in full. After that it is not, because the place is held and stays held.

6 The Protocol Is a Condition of Entry
Entry is conditional on the protocol. Every device is left at the threshold. There are no screens, no speech and no alcohol inside the room.
You may sit, lie down, sleep, or leave at any point without explaining.
We may refuse entry, or ask a person to leave, where the protocol is not kept. In that case the access token is not refunded.
7 Safety and Your Own Judgement
The room is lightly scented, candlelit and hazed. If you are sensitive to scent or smoke, tell us at booking and we will seat you away from the source.
A session is an ambient sound environment. It is not medical or therapeutic treatment and is not a substitute for care.
You attend on your own judgement. If you have a condition that a long period of stillness, low light, scent or haze could affect, decide before you travel.
The session includes a guided breath segment of about ten minutes. Breath-holds and fast breathing carry real physical risk for some people.
Tell us at booking if any of the following apply: pregnancy, epilepsy or a history of seizures, a cardiovascular condition or high blood pressure, recent surgery, a detached retina or a history of aneurysm, or a psychiatric condition including psychosis or bipolar disorder.
In almost every case the answer is that you attend and sit out the breath segment. We are not qualified to decide who may sit in a dark room and listen to sound, and we do not make that judgement.
Sessions are for adults. Nobody under 18 is admitted.

8 Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for personal injury.

10 Changes to These Terms
These terms may change. The version and date at the top of this page show when they last did.
The terms that apply to an access token are the ones in force when it was bought.
